seeking the Sun in life

Quoted from 福尔摩斯谈朱令中毒案. It is very interesting to know that 吴今, Zhu's older sister, wrote this paragraph before her sudden death in April, 1989. Note sure if this story is true or purely fictional. But to read it as a novel, it is a very good one. The author has mastered the essential elements of Holme's detective analysis.

A voice cried out in my heart: "I will wait, till the sun rises again, till the first sunshine on my shoulder." Perhaps that's the meaning of life. Everyone has his own sun and his own dream, and everyone has own brilliant moment when his sun shines gloriously. We'll struggle and suffer in order to reach that brilliant moment. Nothing can stop us, no matter how hard, no matter how many times we fail. That dream, deeply rooted in our heart, is worthy of devoting our whole life to.

Now it seems the previous chapter is really written by Wu Jin when she was a sophomore student at Peking University. The original title is 'To be or not to be - the meaning of life and the meaning of death'. Such a tragedy...
